  • You can find us at Dock A, Ford Cove Harbour, Hornby Island

  • We are located at the far end of “A” dock. Go to the ramp at the end of the pier, hang a left and then a right and walk to the end of the dock.

  • There is a free parking lot at the end of Central Road when you arrive at the Ford Cove.
    We recommend carpooling or taking the bus as there is limited space. Do not park on the breakwater as it is for pass holders only but you are able to drop off passengers close to the ramp before finding parking.

  • Make sure to bring appropriate clothing for the weather (layers are always a good idea), sunscreen, sunglasses, binoculars, camera, reusable water bottle, and a swimsuit and a towel if you plan on swimming.

  • Yes, we have a washroom on board

  • In compliance with Transport Canada, we are fully equipped with SOLAS lifejackets for adults in case of an emergency.

    If children are part of your group, they are required to wear one at all times. Please contact us directly so we can confirm that we have the correct sizing available on board for your child.

  • The tugboat is very stable and there is lots of deck space and fresh air so generally there are no issues with seasickness. If you are particularly prone to feeling woozy we recommend taking a non-drowsy tablet of your choice before boarding.

  • Around Hornby,we see lots of sea life! You can spot many different species of birds, seals and sea lions. We may also see porpoises, humpback whales or orcas. They are wild animals so we can’t guarantee sightings, but keep your binoculars and cameras close!

  • The charters are wind dependent, but there is a significant amount of indoor space, so if the wind is good we head out rain or shine.
